Challenge:
First of all, Tamara knew very little about the web. She didn't
understand how people are having success on the web, but she did know
that she wants to earn passive income. In addition, she isn't an expert
on finances, or so many other how-to subjects that people write e-books
about.
In addition, she needed a name, a logo, the
entire business plan, and a website design that rocked so that she could
quickly get her business launched and up and running.
Her original idea was going to require
considerable import/export knowledge. So, she put that on the shelf when
she came up with the idea for Ever Clever Parties.
Once she had the name, Tamara also had a
concern that it might be difficult to compete with E-Vite (www.evite.com)
and other sites that now feature information about parties. How would
she carve a niche in this competitive space that would justify the time
requirements?
Last, Tamara did not know how to implement
Google on her site, and needed an ad strategy to make the site
profitable from the get-go. |
Solution: Having
known Scott Andrews, principal consultant at ARRiiVE, Tamara engaged
ARRiiVE to help her with her company.
Mr.
Andrews first sat down and brainstormed about the name, and together
they came up with "Ever Clever Parties" and found the URL was available.
Next, Mr. Andrews, developed the logo for the website. Once the logo was
developed, it was a matter of layout. ARRiiVE Interact Desiign team
created the site layout, ad structure for Google, and overall site
heirarchy structure to make it easy for Tamara to load new content.
ARRiiVE also assisted in setting up the blog - a key component to the
success of Ever Clever Parties. Last, the concept of business strategy:
rather than compete by trying to be the best at overall party
coordination, Ever Clever Parties will utilize comedy and through both
interesting party ideas created by Tamara, user contributions & feedback
(social media optimization), and humor, Ever Clever is now becoming
known as the fun party spot for sharing and learning abuot party ideas
on the web.
